Drones MDPI | New Affiliation Agreement with the International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems Association (ICUAS)

We are thrilled to announce that the International Conference on Unmanned Aircraft Systems Association (ICUAS) is affiliated with Drones (ISSN 2504-446X). Therefore, all members of ICUAS receive discounts on article processing charges.

Registered as a non-profit organization in Colorado, USA, the ICUAS Association was founded to accelerate the advancement of knowledge, formal education, fundamental and applied research, and development within unmanned aviation and its diverse real-world applications, while facilitating widespread information sharing and lifting public awareness of unmanned system technologies.

To deliver on its core mission, the ICUAS Association drives comprehensive industry advancement through: organizing annual conferences, workshops, tutorials, technical meetings, and webinars, related to unmanned aviation and unmanned systems; offering short-courses, seminars and briefings to scientists, engineers, researchers, practitioners and end users, industry and the private sector; advocating and supporting the need for UAS standards and regulations; and participating in public meetings to help increase societal awareness in unmanned aviation.

The long-term vision is to contribute to advancing the development of unmanned aviation, to facilitate a full integration of unmanned aviation into the national airspace system, and to educate students, researchers, scientists, engineers, practitioners, end-users, and the general public about its benefits to society. The Association also holds its signature annual International Conference on UAS, a peer-reviewed technical event widely recognized and endorsed by the unmanned systems community.
